The State of California Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education (BPPVE) has solely qualified and officially verified School of Bible Theology Seminary and University for religious exclusion pursuant to California Education Code (CEC) §94739 (b)(6) -- The BPPVE is part of the California Department of Consumer Affairs -- it works to protect students attending privately operated postsecondary educational institutions, upholding integrity in educational instruction. SBTSU has achieved this legal status while maintaining the freedom from government intrusion into our religious teachings and practices.

Transworld Accrediting Commission (TAC) has set accreditation standards and they monitor compliance by SBTSU. TAC is a professional non-profit educational organization whose philosophy is to demonstrate accountability to the consuming public for education obtained in non-traditional evangelical educational institutions. This accountability is demonstrated by institutions that are accredited by TAC, having documented evidence of compliance with TAC standards of structure and governance, material resources, policies, faculty and curriculum.
