Anderson was saved on April 5, 1938, in Poteet, Texas, in a little Home Missions Assembly of God Church built under the direction of the Sister and her husband of the renown Raymond T. Richie. In September of 1939, He was filled with the Holy Spirit Baptism and Preached his first sermon at the Arlington Foursquare Mission (Magnolia Ave. & Van Buren St. in Arlington, a suburb of Riverside, California) that same night God gave him his first ministry miracle, a blind man’s healing. Anderson was Ordained by the Pentecostal Church of God in October
9, 1941. He has since preached throughout the United States and the World
with thousands of conversions, signs and wonders following. He has been
the senior pastor of Faith Tabernacle Church in San Jacinto, California
for over 39 years and is a true theological professor with over 65 years
of full time, ministerial experience. A true Spiritual Father, for over 32 years he has specialized in imparting to, and educating ministers and lay leaders involved in the ministry through SBTSU and is a valiant defender of The Gospel and Pentecostal distinctives. Dr. Anderson has an earned Doctor of Philosophy degree in Theology from Friends International Christian University of Merced, California. Which was conferred in 1985. In addition to the aforementioned Doctor of Philosophy Degree, Dr. Anderson also holds an earned Bachelor, Masters and an earned Doctoral degree in Theology from American Bible College of Chicago, Illinois. Which were conferred circa 1943-49. Dr. Anderson is a Chaplain with honorary status as Lt. Colonel in the United States Army. |

Dr. Laura Anderson, SBTSU co-founder Over 64 years of full time Pentecostal ministry experience! Dr. Birdie "Laura" Anderson, Saved in July of 1934, filled with the Holy Spirit Baptism in July 1936 and at age 18, entered the ministry, licensed by the Pentecostal Church of God in 1938 in Los Angeles, California. She married Dr. Richard E. Anderson on November 24, 1943. Dr. Laura Anderson holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from School of Bible Theology Seminary. "The School of Bible Theology Seminary & University has proven to be a rich source of education, during the past thirty years, to Bible students interested in both undergraduate and graduate degree level Bible courses. It is difficult for me to describe my joy in the unfolding of God's plan for this non-traditional school of extended education. As it progresses through hundreds of God's chosen ministers, from graduation to graduation, his blessings are magnified. The flexibility to study at home, on the field, or while engaged in other ministerial and occupational pursuits, rather than being tied down to an on-campus school, has met a great need in the lives of our students.
